Bitcockpit

These terms apply between you and Business Technology Consulting OÜ ("we") for the use of Bitcockpit (web app, API, command line).

1. Service

Bitcockpit is a watching and evaluation tool for bitcoin holdings: journal with FIFO cost basis, wallet watching via public keys, loans, reports, tax and risk evaluations. Bitcockpit does not custody bitcoin, does not execute transactions and has no access to private keys.

2. Access

Accounts are currently created by invitation. You are responsible for the security of your e-mail mailbox (sign-in by magic link/code) and your devices and must not share credentials or sessions. Portfolio owners decide whom they invite with which role.

3. No advice, no warranty for figures

Prices, conversions, metrics, tax and risk reports are computed automatically from your input and third-party data and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not tax, legal or investment advice. Decisions, tax filings and declarations remain solely your responsibility.

4. Availability and liability

We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence; for ordinary negligence only for the breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Liability for lost profit, price losses and consequential damage from using the evaluations is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

5. Your data

Your data is yours. You can export it as JSON at any time and delete portfolios or your account in the app. Details in the privacy policy.

6. Changes, termination, law

We may change these terms with reasonable notice by e-mail; if you object, usage ends. Either side may terminate at any time (you by deleting your account). Estonian law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
